Profile

'8e88 Graphic' is Thai designer located in Bangkok. Preecha Israphiwat got a degree from Pohchang College of Arts and Crafts in year 1999, and start '8e88 Graphic' website project in 2002,to be his individual space, portfolio and experiment.

8e88 Graphic has showcased in local and international press; Territory, IdN, Pageone, CG+, Error, Juice, Vizio etc., 8e88 Graphic evolve from individual project to experiment play-space with friends and members in 2005, a develop to business part, pint service, illustration, corporate identity, web design, interactive and new media. Sometimes they works on shortfilm, brodcasting in the name 'heartworks'.

You can impress with 'very Thai' style as vivid colorful, old-fashioned view or Kitsch type on his works. 8e88 Graphic captures a lot of from fresh-market, temple or sidestreet in his country. Even the local life-style of countryside which is regarded as, outdated fashion, could be applied to strange ideas for his works. Now, Preecha Israphiwat and 8e88 are very happy with his small studio, and works as sufficiency is his life philosophy.

Concept

1x10 meter piece of work on rolled paper containing wordings of many feelings; sad, happy, suffering, rude, lewd, dirty or any possible feelings. The rolled paper will be installed in a mocking toilet scene.

• Installation work – printed on 1x10 m. paper with scene props including toilet, big water jar, bowl, zinc sheet, etc.
